Siri Will Stay Exclusive on iPhone 4S
CALIFORNIA - Apple seems no plans to introduce Siri, on other devices besides the iPhone 4S.
The company confirmed today Siri will remain exclusive for the iPhone 4S. Apple deliver it via email to the developer, Michael Steeber.
"Engineers have given feedback on this issue, namely Siri only works on the iPhone 4S, and we currently have no plans to support older devices," the email, which delivered 9to5Mac, as quoted by The Next Web, Wednesday (09/11/2011).
This news is actually not surprising, considering that Apple has been emphasized in advertising and marketing campaign tools, that Siri is a differentiator between the iPhone and iPhone 4S 4. To maintain uniqueness, Apple iPhone 4 and suggests owners of other smartphones to buy a new handset.
Apple saw Siri is the key to compete with rival Google as the search giant mobile.
Although Apple already has a firm stance on the fate of Siri, but the action jailbrakers iPhone has developed a port, which can bring Siri on the iPhone is more 'old' as unofficial option.
